Use this page to request deletion of your kontaq app account and associated information.
How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your kontaq app account and associated information, select “Email account deletion request” on this page. The email will open with the subject and request details already filled in. Please add the email address or phone number connected to your kontaq account, your full name, and any organization, property, or workspace name that may be connected to the account, then send it to support@kontaq.com.
What happens when your account is deleted
After we verify the request, kontaq will delete or de-identify the app account and personal information associated with that account that kontaq controls. This includes the account identity used to access kontaq and related account records, unless limited retention is required or permitted as described below.
What account data we delete
Deleted or de-identified information may include account profile information, contact information, authentication-related account records, kontaq pages, submitted messages, service requests, uploaded files, app activity records, and related service records associated with the account.
Information we may retain
Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, tax, dispute, backup, or compliance purposes. We may also retain anonymized, aggregated, or de-identified information that no longer identifies a specific person or app account.
Timing and verification
We will confirm receipt of account deletion requests and may ask for information needed to verify the account owner or authorized requester. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Organization-managed accounts
If your kontaq account is managed by an employer, hotel, resort, property, or other organization, we may direct the request to that organization or require confirmation from the account administrator before deleting workspace-controlled information.
